Closing Date?

It appears that Ashford wants to close on the house next Friday 11-7. Place is coming along, second coat of paint is on, faucets in, water turned on and toilets flush, place is looking good.

Back In Business

I finally got in the house and was able to take some pictures, things keep rolling along.

Crash and Burn

The blog might not get updated in the next week or so, my camera has crashed and Ashford has locked me out of the house. I asked for a key to get in or out of the house and they said I would get a key at closing, which hurt my feelings. Anyway, I'll see if I can't resurrect an old camera and get some photos up.

Basically the trim carpenter is on site setting cabinets, doors, and moulding everywhere. AC unit has been set, power has been terminated at the street so things are moving right along.

Rough Grading

They did some rough grading around the house and I paid their contractor to clear out some space behind the house to add to our back-yard, still not happy with the final elevations around the house, but the new back-yard is pretty good

I really don't like the new entry into the house but not much we can do, will just have to wait and see what the excavator can do for final grading.

Finishes Have Started

We actually started the final stages on the house, first coat of paint has been applied, and flooring has started plus we have a driveway and front walkway!!
