Halloween 2010

Well, Landon didn't come early enough to enjoy Halloween, he did have a costume but he was not up for wearing it. Lots of discussion on what costume we were going to be this year (Princess Peach, Daisy, Witch, Ghost, Shaggy, Scooby) but we ended up with the tried and true Mario and Luigi! We went out with our neighbors Carson and Maddie.

Landon Michael Brooks

He finally made it. 6:46 a.m. on October 26, 2010. He weighed in at 9 pounds 6 ounces and was 22" long. We will not be able to bring him home till Friday due to the c-section. I think that 3rd picture is hilarious.

Fall Farm Visit

We picked up our pumpkins at a local farm that had some fun things to do. It was only 90 degrees on this lovely October day!

Jack's Birthday----Early

Well, Jack's b-day isn't until October 20, but with the impending due date of the new baby we had it early so he could have a special day. We had it at an indoor playground with some big blow-up toys. Of course there was a Mario theme!

Fast Food

Jack brought home a book from kindergarten called Fast Food, so we ended up making our own fast food and it wasn't McDonalds or Burger King

First Day of Kindergarten

Well, Jack made it on the bus and over to his school. His backpack is not in yet, so he borrowed one of ours, we put a mario paper plate in there so he would know which one was his.

All the parents were able to go to the school and watch them get off the bus. He looked a tad bit overwhelmed and tired already but he was a trooper about the whole thing. He is on the bus for an hour in the morning going stop to stop to stop. Waiting anxiously on the report when he gets back to the house at lunch time.

Kindergarten

Jack starts Kindergarten next week and they had orientations this week. He gets to wear this sweet blue mesh trucker hat for the next month. It has his name, address and phone number on it along with his bus number.

It is too great....
