Spring is In The Air

Kyle's Birthday Party

We had Kyle's 3rd birthday party at a gymnastics facility, there were 13 kids there, it seems like everyone had a great time. You can see a picture of Kyle's best friend Maya in there also.

All Done But The Shouting....

We just about got it licked, just need to build some steps and clean up the landscaping and it will be done. Under the blue tarp in the one picture is a sandbox that I whipped out with the extra wood.

Deck Boards Done

Well, all the deck boards are down, but it is missing a lot of screws, so that will take some time. I ended up 1" short on the deck boards. I'm going to see how it looks with the railing on, if it looks bad, I am going to find a trim piece to fit in there. Rains are coming in this weekend so probably not much happening this weekend.

Break in the Weather

Well, got outside last night and was able to use a new tool, the almighty BOWRENCH. It made life a little easier to snug up the boards by myself so I made some good progress, deck boards are all but done.

Here comes the rain...

It is spring and the rains have settled in, a good chance of rain just about everyday so it might take a while to finish up the deck.
